Who we are

Music Bus was started in 1999 in West Sussex by Helen Turner. With her passion for music and recognising the crucial role it can play in a child’s development, Helen established exciting and progressive singing and music classes for babies and children 0-5 years.

In response to demand, Helen’s team quickly grew to provide regular Music Bus sessions written for nurseries, Children’s Centres, playgroups, and events and parties for groups in the wider community.

In order to offer the classes to families over a wider area, Helen took on Franchisees  in other areas.

More recently, Helen and her team of experienced and qualified teachers and musicians have developed and now provide a popular series of training courses enabling people working with early years children to deliver confident and inspiring music sessions in their own setting.

Our Mission

We are passionate for children everywhere to have the opportunity to enjoy and explore singing and music making from an early age and to gain all the important developmental benefits that this offers.

To this end, our goal is to offer inspiring, fun and educational music sessions to as many children and families as possible, whether directly with the children or through training nursery teachers, childminders, parents and others working with young children how to deliver them.
